All the odds as Hatters visit AFC Wimbledon

An excellent win at Wycombe last weekend with Cameron McGeehan's sensational volley separating the sides at Adams Park, and Luton Town are on the road again this weekend when they meet AFC Wimbledon.

The three points last weekend was the Hatters’ seventh win on the road this season, and had they accumulated as many points at Kenilworth Road they would be lying in fifth position in the table but League Two is a very strange perhaps unique division this season.

Of the top six only leaders Northampton Town have picked up more points at home than on the road and I wonder if this domination of sides away from home has ever happened in a major division previously?

With that statistic in mind Town might be the value at 14/5 with BetVictor against a Dons side who are yet another team with more points on their travels than at the wonderfully named Cherry Red Records Stadium this season.

Wimbledon came back down to earth, having previously gone six games unbeaten, when they lost at home to Yeovil last weekend and 21/20 looks too short for the hosts with the draw at 5/2.

Town are still 20/1 for a top seven finish and they badly need to go on a winning, rather than unbeaten, run; with Hartlepool (H) and bottom-of-the-table York (A) next up for Nathan Jones’ side, if they beat the Dons at the weekend then perhaps their promotion dream is still alive.

Cameron McGeehan is 9/1 to score the opening goal and 3/1 to find the back of the net at anytime; the recommendation must be for an eighth away League win, however, with 14/5 a very fair price.
