Park mixed scoring outstanding team tries with occasionally casual defence and unforced errors which allowed BBOB to escape at the end with a try scoring bonus point.

Park, superbly led by skipper and open side flanker Jamie Hoque, tore into the visitors and after 25 minutes they were 31-0 ahead with two tries each from right wing Joe Flatley and lock forward Tom Edmunds and a further score from left wing Eddie Wiggins.

An interception from deep in their own half followed by another quick score brought BBOB back into the game before Hoque added a further try just before the break. Fly half Steve Pollock converted four to make it 38-12 at half time.

Although the second half saw the visitors more involved Park continued to score at regular intervals. Flanker Michael Powell, scrum half Alex Lovell, centre James Hankey and No 8 Ben Griffin all touched down. Steve Pollock added a further three conversions to give him seven successful kicks out of 10. Two late tries from BBOB made the final score 64-24 to Park.

Although this was a fine team display the back row of Powell, Griffin and Hoque were outstanding. Park return to league action at Northampton Casuals on January 10.
