Winner of the Step Forward Luton Award at the 2025 Luton’s Best Awards, the much-loved festival brings ten days of vibrant celebrations, cultural events and community activities across the town, culminating in the spectacular St Patrick’s Parade on Saturday 14th March.

On Saturday 7th March families enjoyed festival fun at Luton Point, with a pre-St Patrick’s Craft Session, giving children the chance to get creative with Irish-themed crafts. Attracting more than 300 children, this event is always a popular highlight of the programme.

The centrepiece of the festival will be the St Patrick’s Parade on Saturday 14th March, starting at Luton Irish Forum (LU2 0ES) at 11am and finishing in St George’s Square, where visitors can enjoy a full day of live entertainment. Performers include rising country star Effie Neill, Electric Picnic favourites Blessed and headline act Rebel Hearts, celebrating their 25th year.

Inside Luton Point, visitors can also enjoy Irish dancing, family craft activities, performances from the Young@Heart Dementia Choir and fun photo opportunities as part of the celebrations. Festival Chair, Nuala Ely, reflected on the incredible success of the 2025 festival: “Last year my heart was full, looking out at the amazing crowd. It literally took my breath away, a sea of green with smiling faces looking back at me. It was such a joy to see young and old, first, second and third generation Irish, along with the wider community, joining together, singing, dancing and having so much fun. The atmosphere was electric.

We were astounded by the feedback and the incredible turnout of more than 51,000 people and we are excited to bring the community together again this year.”

With events taking place across the town and activities at Luton Point, the festival offers something for everyone, from families and music lovers to those keen to experience Irish culture and community spirit.

Lavinia Douglass, Marketing Manager at Luton Point, commented: “We’re delighted to support the return of Luton’s St Patrick’s Festival and to welcome some of the celebrations into the centre. Events like this bring people together and showcase the incredible community spirit in Luton. We’re looking forward to seeing families, visitors and the wider community enjoying the craft activities and festival atmosphere here at Luton Point as part of the wider celebrations across the town.”
