Familiar faces Shobna Gulati and Joe McGann make their Waterside debut in April in Paris, an observational comedy set to make your heart melt.

More comedy capers are in store with Globe Theatre On Tour’s Midsummer Night’s Dream, and don’t miss the return of The National Theatre’s One Man, Two Guvnors for a glorious celebration of British comedy – satire, songs, slapstick and glittering one-liners.

An all-star cast comprising Rosalind Ayres, Niall Buggy, Nigel Havers, Sian Phillips and Cherie Lunghi ( to name a few), appear in Oscar Wilde’s much-loved and brilliantly witty masterpiece The Importance of Being Earnest.

Fans of the no.1 best-selling author Peter James are in for a treat with The Perfect Murder, a highly entertaining dark comedy thriller with an all-star cast led by Robert Daws (The Royal, Roger Roger, Outside Edge).

Classical music audiences will welcome the return of Ellen Kent Opera bringing three masterpieces; Verdi’s Rigoletto featuring a magnificent golden eagle with a seven-foot wingspan, Puccini’s Madama Butterfly with fabulous costumes and a spectacular Japanese garden in October, and Verdi’s La Traviata which is taking to the stage early next year.
