From Young Harry to Bert, Stagecoach Dunstable student Charles is on the road to West End stardom

At a mere 10 years old, Stagecoach Dunstable student Charles is going from strength to strength on the professional stage.
Charles or Charlie as he likes to be known, joined Stagecoach Dunstable in September 2019 as part of the Early Stages classes. When he was old enough, he moved up to the Main Stages.
Using the skills and confidence he gained from his weekly classes, Charles was successful in getting an agent in the Spring of 2025. Very soon after, he was successful in getting booked for his first professional job.
Playing Young Harry in Susie Miller’s smash hit Inter Alia Staring Rosamund Pike at The National Theatre, is the theatrical debut dreams are made of.

Lucy O’Hare, Principal at Stagecoach Dunstable was over the moon for her young student: "We were absolutely so thrilled for him and so proud of him It was a great play and Charles was great in it, he was even chosen to be in the National Theatre live recorded version that was seen in Nationally in cinemas."
Very soon after the run ended, Charles was once again successful and landed the role of Bert in All My Sons with Bryan Cranston at the Wyndham theatre in London's West End. The show opened to great acclaim in November last year but throughout Charlie’s busy schedule he always makes time for his Stagecoach classes. Attending every Saturday with his little brother Joshua.
Lucy continues: "Charles is a fantastic Stagecoach student, he never lets his success goes to his head and tries just as hard in his classes weakly to improve. He is still attending whilst also performing in the West End, even though he can only come for an hour because he has to dash to London to perform.
"His passion for all things performing is a wonderful thing to behold and his professionalism and humility makes him a lovely performer to both work with and watch."

Charlie will also be taking the role of Troy Bolton in High School Musical Jnr at Stagecoach Dunstable at the end of this current term, all while juggling the run of All My Sons that runs until March 7.
