University RaG week kicks off
A STUDENT is aiming to raise £8,000 for charity in just one week as part of the University of Bedfordshire’s annual RaG week.
Robyn Sach, a 21-year-old journalism student, is the University RaG Officer, and helped organise the fundraising week, which runs until Friday. Events include speed-dating, a comedy evening and an auction.
Robyn said: “I am determined to beat last year’s total so have enlisted the help of staff, students, friends and local companies including The Brewery Tap pub and Pizza Express. All have donated fantastic prizes.”
