ANGLING: Fensome in form for Luton AC

Elliott Fensome banked a double-figure mirror from Beckerings Reservoir, while on the Grand Union Canal Jason Mash caught a 2lb 9oz perch.

On the South Lagoon, Chris Bartlett landed a 9lb 7oz pike and zander of 8lb 7oz and 7lb 2oz, Tomasz Reszka claimed zander of 12lb 6oz and 8lb 4oz plus a 10lb 2oz pike and Craig Gibson an 8lb 4oz pike.

At North House Lake, Josh Hammersley snared the mirror carp known as Pecs at 28lb, Ashley Irvine an 11lb common, Ray Charman four carp to 26lb 4oz and Craig Stevenson a 17lb 8oz common.

On the match scene, Enfield Highway WMC, who are all Luton AC members, fished their final match of the season on the Globe Section of the Grand Union Canal last Sunday.

Wayne Fisher triumphed with 15lb 6oz, including a 13lb carp, 1lb 6oz roach plus skimmers, J Fisher was runner-up with 12lb 15oz of skimmers and bream and T Mann third with 9lb 4oz of skimmers and roach.

Wayne Fisher also won the club’s Match Caught Carp & Roach Cups.

Tony Fisher, meanwhile, won the Match Caught Bream Cup during their Beckering match with a 7lb 12oz specimen.
