Barton Rovers enjoyed a superb FA Cup second qualifying round win at Ryman Premier League side Margate on Saturday.

The visitors went close early on through Paul Andrews, before winning a penalty on 36 minutes after Keshi Anderson was felled, with Kevin Kilroy netting from the spot.

After the break, Margate levelled when Chalie Allen scored, but Barton hit back as Louis Lee’s turn and shot nestled into the top corner.

Subs: Hassan, Ottaway, Vincent, Fulton, Terry, Mcdevitt.
