Dunstable Town enjoyed a 3-2 win over Conference South newboys Hemel Hempstead Town at Creasey Park on Tuesday night.

The hosts took the lead in the first minute when Charlie Henry’s cross was fired goalwards by Christopher Marsh. His shot was saved, but the follow up was tapped home by Jemale McKenzie-Lowe.

Newman Carney’s long range show was saved, before skipper Ben Herd crossed for McKenzie-Lowe to net the second with a lovely angled drive on 13 minutes.

McKenzie-Lowe was denied a hat-trick and Hemel pulled one back as Dave Hutton found the net midway through the half.

Dunstable had a third just before the break, when Adam Watkins took aim from 30 yards and powered his shot past the keeper.

In the second period, Hemel made it 3-2 when keeper Ben Barnes parried a shot and Connor Clarke converted the rebound
