The experienced defender hasn’t featured for Luton since the 1-0 defeat to Stevenage on April 2, but could play against Brighton or in a development game.

Cuthbert was put through his paces during the warm down after Hatters loss at Boreham Wood on Tuesday night, as boss Nathan Jones said: “He’s just had a little bit of stiffness in his hamstring, which is part and parcel of what he had before but he’s back training with us now as we’ve been looking to integrate him safely this week.

“The Boreham Wood game was a little bit soon for him, hopefully he’ll be back for the weekend games.

“Whether he’s involved in the Brighton game, or he’s involved in the 21s, we’ll get some minutes into him this weekend.

“We’re just wanting to give him a good bit of training before we expose him to a match scenario.”

Full back Dan Potts should be fine too, after going off at half time in midweek, with Jones adding: “It was just a precaution. He got a bang on the head, so we didn’t take any risks with that, but it’s nothing bad.”
