All the odds as Town host Carlisle

Luton took their unbeaten league record to nine but two points out of a possible six this week was a disappointing return and six of those nine games have now yielded just a single point.

The Hatters must turn those draws into wins if they are to maintain their automatic promotion challenge.

Hatters are still 4/5 at BetVictor to be promoted but out to 6/1 from 7/2 for the title with Shrewsbury the 5/4 market leaders to be League Two Champions.

The Hatters are 17/20 at BetVictor to beat Carlisle and that looks appealing although I am conscious I said that this time last week.

United led going into injury time against title favourites Shrewsbury midweek only to concede twice in stoppage time and that defeat must have been hard to stomach.

Carlisle sit only four points off the relegation places and they will be fighting to maintain their league status at Kenilworth Road; the visitors are 19/5 for the points with the draw at 13/5.

Charlie Wyke has scored four goals in three games for United in recent weeks and John Still will be well aware of the threat posed by the young striker who was on loan at Hartlepool from Boro earlier in the season.

Mark Cullen’s brace from the bench might be enough for him to get the nod from John Still at the weekend and the striker is 5/1 at BetVictor to grab the opener.

Carlisle have scored more goals this season than the Hatters and I expect them to find the back of the net at Kenilworth Road; the recommendation is the Town to win and both teams to score at 17/5.

The Hatters play their game in hand on Tuesday when they travel to another relegation threatened side Mansfield, so at least one win is badly needed.
