Luton head into this afternoon’s clash with Barnet at Kenilworth Road having taken one point from their last two matches in front of their own supporters.

Town have only won two out of eight on home soil as well and why they have found it difficult at times, Doyle said: “When we play at home, because we did well last year and our home form was good last year, this year teams set up against us differently than if they were playing us at their home ground.

“Teams are more difficult to break down when they come to Luton Town, that’s something we’ve got to work on in the training ground and get the results at home.”

Hatters have tasted back-to-back victories against Dagenham and Crawley in recent weeks and Doyle wants them to continue that form this afternoon.

He continued: “There is a bit of momentum going into the game and a winning mentality throughout the team with the youth team doing well as well.

“It breeds confidence, so hopefully we can get on a roll now.”

Doyle himself won’t be fit to feature against the Bees after suffering an ankle injury in the 2-0 win at Dagenham but hopes to be back soon, adding: “It will be another couple of weeks yet, I’ve got to wait for it to settle down and then hopefully I’ll be fit for selection.”
