Luton were no match for league leaders Cardiff City, falling to a 3-1 defeat.
The Bluebirds took the lead through David Turnbull, before Jordan Clark levelled from the penalty spot. Quickfire strikes before half time from Joel Colwill and Perry Ng were enough to ensure the points stayed in Wales and to find out how the Hatters players rated, see below.

5. Mads Andersen: 5
Had too many to mark as Turnbull was left isolated to make it 1-0 and didn't know quite whether to stick or twist when Colwill went rampaging through on goal as the City attacker easily fired into the bottom corner and double the Bluebirds' advantage. With Cardiff unlike most League One sides then it negated Andersen's aerial dominance as they cut through Town on the floor, particularly in the first period when the hosts scored three goals and might have had more. Played some good passes into midfield but the moves usually broke down as the Hatters weren't good enough in either box on the day. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons

6. Kasey Palmer: 5
Never came close to replicating the kind influence he had against Bradford as it was clear Cardiff had done their research, knowing Town would try and play through the Jamaican international, swamping him so he had a lack of time to get his head up, stopping him by whatever means necessary when he did, demonstrated by the fact he was the most fouled player of the match. Sliced one shot wide, but then lost the ball in a dangerous area from Keeley's pass which saw Colwill sprung away to make it 2-1. Tried an ill-judged shot from the halfway line which ended up nearer the corner flag as after the break, Town huffed and puffed as a comeback was always unlikely. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons

7. Jordan Clark: 5
Skipper kept his head well from the penalty spot in front of a packed home stand to abandon the stuttering run-up he had gone with in his last two spotkick attempts and pick out the side netting with real class to draw the visitors level with his ninth of the season. Struggled in the midfield as a confidence Cardiff easily enjoyed the better of things, dominating possession as the leaders were far too good, especially in the first period. Had the odd break after the interval, but the Hatters moves often broke down just when they got close, as bar his goal, Town weren't able to manufacture another shot on target during the contest. 8. Gideon Kodua: 4
Precious little threat from Town's top scorer on the day, as starting on the left once more, Cardiff easily kept him quiet. One of a trio of Luton players who weren't able to stop Colwill from holding on to the ball in the area and finding Turnbull to open the scoring early on. Nowhere near enough pressure on Ng who hammered into the net from 25 yards to make it 3-1 and really put the result beyond doubt for the second period. With the Bluebirds on top, he was lucky not to concede a penalty after getting in the way of another shot from Tanner which hit his outstretched hand, unseen by the officials. Taken off at half time as Luton opted for a 4-4-2 formation in the second half. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons
