Luton were no match for league leaders Cardiff City, falling to a 3-1 defeat.
The Bluebirds took the lead through David Turnbull, before Jordan Clark levelled from the penalty spot. Quickfire strikes before half time from Joel Colwill and Perry Ng were enough to ensure the points stayed in Wales and to find out how the Hatters players rated, see below.

9. Jake Richards: 5
Like most of the visitors, couldn't ever really get going in the first period as Cardiff showed why they are top of the league, simply too good for the Hatters on the day. Moved to the right wing in the second period as Luton opted to switch to a 4-4-2 formation, which gave him the opportunity to cut in on his left foot and dink some dangerous crosses in, one which was just headed away from a lurking Cole at the back post. Close control saw him make some potentially dangerous bursts forward, as an early foray should have really led to Bagan being shown a second yellow when he had turned him, only for the Bluebirds defender to escape any punishment. Taken off with around 15 minutes to go. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons

10. Izzy Jones: 5
Recalled to the starting XI for the first time since Luton went to Barnsley back in November, as he took over from Morris on the right flank. Cut inside to latch on to Cole's through ball and having got into the area, was fouled by Bagan for a penalty, the winger also booked for his protests that the Cardiff defender wasn't sent off. From then, he was fairly well marshalled by the home defenders, his first touch letting him down at times too, with the ball often escaping him as he was dispossessed. Moved to the left in the second period, but most of Town's better moments, that were few and far between, came on the opposite wing. Completing 90 minutes should serve him well though. 11. Devante Cole: 5.5
His excellent vision and weight of pass saw Jones able to just about beat the offside trap and draw a foul from Bagan which led to a penalty that Clark converted well. Although the hosts were the dominant force, when the striker was found by his team-mates, did hold the ball up pretty well at times, but unfortunately there was little in the way of support for him as Town didn't create any meaningful opportunities. Almost had a chance to open his account at the back post from Richards' cross, but it was just flicked away, as taken off in a double swap and still hasn't had a shot on target for his new side. 12. Ali Al-Hamadi (SUB): 6
Longest run-out in a Luton shirt since joining as he came on for Kodua at the break, playing alongside Cole as Wilshere opted to utilise a front two for one of the first times of his managerial career at Kenilworth Road. His introduction saw the Hatters enjoy more of the ball as Town did look a bit more solid than they had done during the opening 45 minutes, as he caused the odd problem, although couldn't outpace Osho for one opportunity to break clear. Must be pushing for a start on Wednesday now. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons
