Luton were able to bounce back to winning ways by defeating Barnsley 2-1 on Tuesday evening.
The Hatters scored through Mads Andersen and Nahki Wells, as also Makenzie Kirk pulled one back on the hour mark, Town were able to triumph. To find out how Luton’s players on the night, see below.

1. James Shea: 6.5
Called on in the first half when he dived to his left and made a fine fingertip stop from Yoganathan’s header, the rebound crashed over the bar. Happy to see Barnsley leave their shooting boots at home, as they missed some excellent chances, Adeyemo with the best of them. After the break, he was beaten on the hour mark when Kirk slammed home via the underside of the bar, as the clean sheet still eludes him. In a slightly more nervy finale than he would have wanted, was fortunate Yoganathan sidefooted a glorious opening straight at him, while added to the tension when he unwisely went short with his distribution once, before thankfully going long afterwards. 2. Hakeem Odoffin: 7
Remained in the right back role as Wilshere went unchanged for the third game in a row, as got away with one poor bit of play in the first half when his clearance was charged down by Cleary, who was able to put in a cross that saw Adeyemo thankfully get it all wrong from close range. Would have been away had the referee played the advantage he should have, but did produce a superb crossfield ball from inside his own half to set Palmer free on the left. Just before the break, the defender was forced off with what looked like a groin issue and hopefully it's something he caught early, especially with Luton's congested run of games. Photo: David Horn

3. Mads Andersen (STAR MAN): 8
Against his former side, got things off to the perfect start when he rose highest to head home Donley’s free kick inside two minutes. Up to meet two other set-pieces, one going over and the other through to Slicker, as he was a real force in both boxes. Booked in the first half, but stayed on the right side of the referee after that and really came to the fore in the second period. At one point, he had his shirt in his hands when it was taken off him following a free kick, but with Barnsley going longer, he took charge of Town's back-line, stepping up to head the danger away. Was good on the ground too, producing a display which showed just why Wilshere has so much faith in him. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons

4. George Johnston: 7.5
Got the backing of Wilshere following his error against MK Dons, as he stayed in the side and demonstrated that he wouldn’t make the same mistake again, booming the ball away when it was loose, one particularly pleasing blast into the stands to stop an attack. Recovered well from an early blow to the head which threatened to end his evening prematurely, although also showed more of a cultured touch at times, curling some threatening passes behind the Tykes' defence for Town's attackers. Escaped at the far post to nod Walsh’s free kick back for Wells to score, his delight clear to see afterwards. Once Barnsley pulled one back, played his part in stopping the visitors from getting a leveller. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons
