Luton were able to bounce back to winning ways by defeating Barnsley 2-1 on Tuesday evening.
The Hatters scored through Mads Andersen and Nahki Wells, as also Makenzie Kirk pulled one back on the hour mark, Town were able to triumph. To find out how Luton’s players on the night, see below.

5. Kal Naismith: 7.5
Solid display from the captain throughout the evening, as he had his hands full with some tricky Barnsley attackers. Made sure that Luton didn't play too slowly when getting the ball out from the back, as Town looked to get the ball upfield as quickly as they could. Underlapped Palmer well in the first half, dummying two opponents and picking out Clark for an opportunity. After the break, he was unfortunate to see his tackle rebound through to Kirk to score, but came close himself when prodding narrowly wide of the target. Involved in the major incident at the death, as Richards went over his leg in the penalty area late on only for the attacker to be thankfully booked for diving. Photo: Duncan Jack

6. Liam Walsh: 7
Gave a good battling performance in the middle of the field as Luton tried to atone for their lack of challenges at the weekend, winning five out of his seven ground duels, and his one in the air too, ensuring there was no questioning Town's commitment to get back to winning ways after Saturday's defeat. Set-pieces were good on the night as well, as his deep free kick was met by Johnston at the back post for Wells to make it 2-0 late in the first half. With Barnsley pulling one back, his ability on the ball ensured the Hatters didn't retreat into their shells and simply try to hold on to their lead. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons

7. Jamie Donley: 6.5
Midfielder played slightly more of an anchoring role in midweek, which allowed Clark to venture that bit further forward against the Tykes. His set-piece prowess paid off inside the opening two minutes, picking out Andersen to put the Hatters in front. Did so again later in the half, although this time from open play, with the centre half's header being gathered by Slicker on this occasion. Gave Town a bit more physicality in the centre of the pitch, as he created the most opportunities, also making some good runs off the ball when Luton attacked, but wasn't always picked out. 8. Tudor Mendel: 7.5
Showed good durability to go again, as he started his third match in succession, and it was easily his best outing in a Luton shirt to date. Put in plenty of work getting up and down on the right, as he was always a willing runner when Luton attacked, as he might have slipped Donley in, but opted to find Wells instead, who hit the post. Having turned down the chance to shoot at the weekend, didn't do so this time, with a few shots deflected behind for corners in the first half. Also demonstrated he is happy using his right foot, which had been a criticism, having another crack that saw Slicker parry. Barely lost a duel either, before he was replaced by Richards on the hour mark. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons
