Luton were able to bounce back to winning ways by defeating Barnsley 2-1 on Tuesday evening.
The Hatters scored through Mads Andersen and Nahki Wells, as also Makenzie Kirk pulled one back on the hour mark, Town were able to triumph. To find out how Luton’s players on the night, see below.

13. Jake Richards (SUB): 7.5
Point to prove possibly having been on the bench for the third league game in succession, and did just that when introduced into the action shortly after Barnsley had pulled one back. With Town so desperate to triumph, it could have led to a home crowd wracked with nerves during the closing stages, but showed plenty of fight and a decent amount of strength as well to make sure the balls stuck with him, allowing Luton to remain on the front foot rather than adopt a holding pattern. Broke forward as well, seeing shouts for a penalty turned down, although might have been better keeping the ball in the corner rather than attempt a cross in the final minute. Photo: David Horn

14. Callum Marshall (SUB): 6.5
Forward replaced Wells for the last 10 minutes as his pace and willingness to chase meant that the Barnsley defenders couldn't take their time when attempting to launch the ball into the box during the latter stages. One hefty clearance also helped keep the ball away from the danger area as well. Photo: David Horn

15. Emilio Lawrence (SUB): 6.5
Part of a double sub with Marshall late in the second that showed Wilshere wasn't keen to just shut up shop, but send on attacking options to give Barnsley something to think about defensively as well. Cut on to his right foot to have a crack that was blocked away, also able to win one pressure-relieving free kick as well. Photo: David Horn
