Luton Town were somehow beaten 3-2 by 10-man Plymouth Argyle at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.
Having fought back from trailing twice thanks to penalties from Jerry Yates and Nahki Wells, the visitors then had skipper Joe Edwards sent off after 50 minutes. Despite playing for almost an hour with a numerical advantage, the Hatters still left empty handed when Jordan Clark's clearance rebounded into the net off Bradley Ibrahim late on. To find out how the Town players rated on the day then see below.

5. Nigel Lonwijk: 6
Played out on the left hand side of Town’s back three as he wasn’t quite able to keep Tolaj under control early in the first half as the striker was allowed time and space to deliver a cross for Sorinola to make it 1-0. Close to levelling the scores himself when his attempt was blocked, although was soon booked which meant he had to watch his step. Unable to get his body in the way of Ibrahim’s strike as the Pilgrims player made it 2-1 on the stroke of half time, with the Wolves loanee taken off at the break to avoid seeing a second yellow. 6. Milli All: 6.5
Had some dangerous moments in the first half, mainly when his fierce shot was parried away by Argyle keeper Ashby-Hammond. After the break his dinked cross saw Kodua fouled at the back post for a penalty which allowed Town to make it 2-2. Should have won the hosts a third spotkick of the afternoon when he was fouled in the box by Sorinola, but somehow received a yellow card from the referee for simulation instead. Late on his shooting was more of a hindrance than a help to the Hatters, as he saw one attempt fly well over and another go out for a throw-in when the Hatters needed them to at least be on target. 7. George Saville (STAR MAN): 7.5
Midfielder was Luton’s most aggressive player on the day as he threw himself into a number of committed challenges to win the ball back for the Hatters, putting his body on the line on more than one occasion which certainly got the home fans out of their seats. Neat and tidy on the ball as well, he did his best to marshal his team-mates on the day, only for Town's defending to ultimately let them down. Photo: Liam Smith

8. Jordan Clark: 5.5
Not the greatest afternoon on the ball for the midfielder as with Town having plenty of possession and territory, particularly against 10 men, he wasn't always able to pick the right pass for the Hatters, seeing a number cut out by the opposition. With 15 minutes left and the scores level at 2-2, he thought he had cleared the danger when Keeley clawed Nelson’s deflection away only for it to hit Ibrahim and rebound into the net, a goal that had echoes of Blackpool's last-ditch play-off winner from a number of years ago.
