Luton suffered a bitterly disappointing defeat to Reading in League One last night.
The Hatters had trailed 2-0 to Lewis Wing’s penalty and a fine strike by former player Jack Marriott, only to hit back and level thanks to goals from Jordan Clark and Nigel Lonwijk. However they were then breached again when substitute Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan went through to win it and to find out how the visiting players rated on the evening, see below.

Thought he had got back to prevent Reading’s attackers from breaking away early on, only to see his tackle actually send the ball through to Kyerewaa who went over the sprawling Keeley to win a penalty and break the deadlock. After the break, his poor header out was latched on to by the hosts for their second goal as well, Marriott showing Luton's front players how it's done when rifling in, the Royals scoring three of their four shots on target. Tried to be progressive with his passing, as he made 18 passes into the final third, particularly out to right flank as the Hatters were pressing for an equaliser. Photo: David Horn

Stayed in one of the deep-lying midfield roles with Saville dropping to the bench at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, and was always eager to get the ball from his defenders and look to move it on as quickly and efficiently as possible. Took some good free kicks and corners, although one led to the hosts' opening goal as they were able to break away and win a penalty. After the break, he continued to press well to pick out Morris for a chance which was blocked, while his neat footwork in and around the area saw the ball eventually land at the feet of Lonwijk who cracked home a superb equaliser. Back in the team having impressed when coming off the bench against Port Vale on Saturday, but unfortunate that his pass to Clark was picked off just outside the hosts' box, which allowed the Royals to break upfield with speed to get their early penalty. Was quite a progressive player on the night as he had six touches in the opposition area with two successful dribbles, but was also dispossessed three times as well, as sometimes his final ball was off meaning the Hatters weren't quite able to create enough clear-cut chances on the evening. Great to see his name back on the teamsheet from the start for the first time since Northampton after his recent cameos from the bench. Played far further forward on this occasion, often slotting in as a number nine, which in a way shows the lack of options available to Wilshere upfront. Some lovely deft passes out wide in the first period, as he looked to get on the ball and try to make things happen, with one attempt that was straight at the keeper. In the right place to spin and pull one back for the Hatters from close range as he is now Town's joint top scorer in the league, before having completed an hour, was withdrawn as he continues to boost his match fitness.
