Luton suffered a bitterly disappointing defeat to Reading in League One last night.
The Hatters had trailed 2-0 to Lewis Wing’s penalty and a fine strike by former player Jack Marriott, only to hit back and level thanks to goals from Jordan Clark and Nigel Lonwijk. However they were then breached again when substitute Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan went through to win it and to find out how the visiting players rated on the evening, see below.

9. Cohen Bramall: 6
Most accurate passer on the night for the Hatters with 92 percent as he looked threatening in the first period, released by Kodua only to drag his shot wide of the target. Had another crack from further out, his well-struck daisycutter forcing Pereira into an excellent low stop. Injury to Naismith meant he dropped into the left back role on the stroke of half time, remaining in that role after the break too. Missed a header that saw the Royals able to make it 3-2, something that left him visibly disappointed when speaking to supporters afterwards, and tried his best to make amends, overlapping well to send over a cross that was turned over by Morris at the death. 10. Gideon Kodua: 4.5
Difficult night for the youngster as you can't knock his effort and desire to make things happen, finding Bramall when he might have shot himself, as he was also fouled the most times out of any player which showed the attention that the opposition were paying to him. Did let fly once with an attempt from the right that was deflected behind, before swapping to the left flank when Naismith went off just before the break. Unfortunately his touch and final ball was off for most of the evening, a number of moves breaking down, while often guilty of turning back into trouble or being dispossessed. Photo: David Horn

11. Nahki Wells: 3
Restored to the starting line-up in place of Brown, he did have one sight of goal in the first half, sending a swerving effort straight at the keeper who saved easily. Offered little after that though with his touch disappointing when his team-mates played into him, which meant the ball didn't stick upfront and a lot of the work Town had in getting it there in the first place was wasted. Telling that Clark was better positioned to swoop when Morris's cross was deflected to make it 2-1, and having had just 18 touches in his 64 minutes on the field, made way for Yates to get the closing stages. 12. Shayden Morris (SUB): 5
On sooner than he might have expected, as with Naismith having to come off, he was called on just before the break. although the whistle blew before he could make any meaningful impact. Out for the second period, as he was on Saturday, he had a good chance when found by Walsh only to see two Reading defenders throw their bodies on the line to block away. Another burst saw the pass to him not accurate enough, but with Luton 2-0 behind, his cross rebounded for Clark to halve the deficit. Wise to his ways, the Royals quickly doubled up on him which denied the space in behind, while might have bagged a late leveller only to sky Bramall's delivery over the bar. Photo: Andy Fitzsimons
