Luton saw their five game unbeaten run in all competitions ended by Sheffield United on Saturday. After a goalless first half, the Hatters conceded twice early in the second period, Rhian Brewster and Jack Robinson on target, while they had to play the final half an hour with 10 men, Reece Burke sent off. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.

5. Reuell Walters: 4
There will be some learning experiences for the teenager this season and this was certainly one of them. Harshly thrown in at left back up against the exciting Rak-Sakyi, as bar one brilliant sliding challenge, it was his opponent who definitely won the battle on the day. When both he and McGuiness failed to deal with an aerial ball, it allowed the on-loan Palace winger to burst through to put the Blades in front, also booked for bringing down the wideman soon afterwards. After the break, he showed him too much room to make it 2-0 and was withdrawn soon afterwards. Photo: David Horn

6. Alfie Doughty: 4.5
Appeared very unsure of his role during the first half, moved out to the right hand side of a four man midfield, cutting a hugely frustrated figure as things went so wrong around him. Set-pieces did cause the odd moment of concern for the Blades defence, but they were largely unflustered as it never looked like Luton were going to repeat the 3-2 victory from Boxing Day, both teams already some way apart this term now. Did get into things a bit more when he was back in his more natural role on the left, but Town's chances had gone by then. Photo: David Horn

7. Marvelous Nakamba: 4.5
With Town dropping deep, then it gave United the freedom of Bramall Lane to dominate possession for almost all of the contest, the Zimbabwean not really able to get out and get amongst the home players in the manner he did when Luton enjoyed so much success at this level previously. Passing was unusually sloppy as well, sending one straight out of play during a disappointing hour on the field, making way as the Hatters tried, unsuccessfully, to find a way back into the contest. 8. Tom Krauß: 4.5
With Luton setting up far deeper than they have done at any stage this term, he was never able to replicate the kind of impressive pressing display he had produced against Oxford in midweek, the Blades allowed to dominate the ball from minute one. Managed one effort in the first period which was bravely charged down by Souttar, while got back impressively to deny the hosts when they cut through Town's defence once more, the German clearly frustrated by what was going on around him. Eventually replaced midway through the second period. Photo: David Horn
