Striker Lee Angol played as Boreham Wood were beaten 2-1 by Staines in Conference South, while Brett Longden helped Maidenhead United to a 3-1 win at Bishop’s Stortford.

Ian Rees began for Biggleswade in their 1-1 draw at Frome Town in Southern League Premier Division, while Zane Banton came off the bench.

Charlie Smith played 90 minutes as Hitchin Town beat Paulton Rovers on Monday and in the 3-2 victory over Bideford on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Rees then started for Waders in another 1-1 draw at Slough Town on Tuesday, with Banton again a second half substitute.
