Luton boss Nathan Jones is sensing a 'real good draw' in the FA Cup fourth round this evening.

The Hatters reached the stage for the first time since the 2012-13 campaign by beating fellow Championship opponents Reading 1-0 at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.

That tie was described as lacking in romance by Jones during the build-up, but he is now confident of pulling out one of the big boys in tonight's draw made live on BT Sport at 7.10pm, with Luton ball number 26.

It will also be followed by the fifth round draw as well, as Jones said: "We take the cup seriously, it’s the first time in a while that Luton’s got to the fourth round.

"When I was here (before) we got to the third round at Newcastle, but of course we can (go on a good run).

“We hope for a good draw. I’ve got a feeling we’re going to get a real good draw this time.

“I’ve been very pessimistic before and it’s come back to be a self-fulfilling prophecy, so I think we’re going to get a real good draw this time."

Whatever opposition Town draw out tonight, Jones just hopes it isn't a club from the second tier, after also facing Norwich and Reading in the Carabao Cup, prior to a stellar game against Premier League giants Manchester United.

He added: "That’s what we want, we want something different from a Championship test as we get Championship tests week in week out.

"Two years ago we'd have been delighted with a Championship test, three years ago we’d have been delighted, because it would mean a chance to have a go.

"Now it’s week in week out we’re playing against these sides, so what we want is to get something different.

"Whether that’s a lower league side or whether that's a Premier League side, we would really like a Premier League side home or away."
