The 25-year-old joined from Boston United in the summer after finishing as the Conference North player of the season and had penned a 12-month deal.

Miller opened his account for the Hatters in the 4-2 FA Cup win over Newport County AFC and bagged a first Football League goal with the winner in the 1-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers.

Town boss John Still told the club’s official website: “Ricky’s been tremendous for us since his arrival. He has such a great attitude and hunger to do well.

“He’s capable of coming up with that little bit of magic, as showed against Tranmere, and in the short time he’s been with us we’ve been hugely impressed with the improvement he has made.”
