One change for Luton against Foxes as Mengi is named on the bench
League One: Luton Town v Leicester City
Luton boss Jack Wilshere has made just one change to the side that beat Barnsley 2-1 on Tuesday night for today’s clash at home to Leicester City.

It’s an enforced one for the hosts as well, centre half Hakeem Odoffin out with a muscle strain, which means Izzy Jones comes in at right back. The continued absence of Harrison Ashby due to a groin issue meant there was a recall for Teden Mengi, named in a League One squad for the first time since February last year when he was on the bench against Burton Albion.
Asked about the opposition, who were plying their trade in the Premier League just two seasons ago, suffering back-to-back relegations like the Hatters, boss Jack Wilshere said: “It’s a big game for League One, two teams that were recently in the Premier League, it’s an exciting game for us, for the players, and two good teams.
“They've got a good squad. They’ve changed the team over the last couple of games, changed a little bit the structure, but the principles remain the same. I like the boy (Louis) Page in midfield, I think he brings something to them, he’s fearless. Obviously (John) Lundstram is someone I’ve played against, (Bobby De Cordova) Reid who I played against. They’ve got many players, many good players. There were some that were on the bench last game, it’s the third game in a week, will they make changes? We’ll have to wait and see.”
