Still said: “If I looked at clubs who were down there, they were always a club I felt had the capability of improving and they have improved.

“Whoever we play at the moment, people sometimes have changed managers which gives team a little boost.

“They’ve changed players which gives you a little boost and it’s the time of year when people who are close to the bottom know they have to start pushing now.

“Games are tough, they’ll be okay, they’ll be competitive and they’ll be a tough team to play against.”

“Yes they went down to 10 men, but that’s not easy, we had to really go for it, and we went for it.

“We had to show great character to get back into it, so there was a plus attached to a disappointment.

“Was everyone happy with the performance? Not really. Was everyone happy with the character to get back and get something, absolutely.”
