Town striker ready for his purple patch

GOALSCORER Danny Crow finally hopes he is entering season, writes Mark Wood.

The diminutive striker scored twice in the 4-2 victory at Eastbourne on Saturday and grabbed another brace as Forest Green Rovers were hammered 6-1 on Tuesday night.

Crow, 24, who signed from Cambridge United in the summer, said: “I was saying to Barnesy on the coach (to Eastbourne) I don’t start scoring until November and December.
