Luton teenage goalkeeper Tiernan Parker has joined Southern Premier Division Central side Hitchin Town on a one-month loan.

With the Canaries regular number one Charlie Horlock due to serve a three-match suspension following his red card at Stourbridge on Saturday, the 19-year-old goes straight into the squad for tonight's game at AFC Rushden & Diamonds.

The move is Parker's second loan spell at Top Field, having been at the club where his uncle Adam Parker is assistant to manager Mark Burke, the former Town apprentice, 18 months ago.

The Northern Ireland youth international made his senior debut for Hitchin at King’s Lynn Town in March 2019, before helping them win the Herts Charity Cup, saving a penalty and keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Hemel Hempstead Town.

Hitchin also go to St Albans City in the Emirates FA Cup second round qualifying round on Saturday and then host Needham Market in the league on Monday evening.
