Bringing a shine to your home or business

Dunstable Family Businesses by Cllr Peter Hollick, Past Dunstable Town Mayor

The Specialist Cleaning Group is an independent Dunstable business. For founders Donna and Den Hall, specialist cleaning has always been about more than the visible result.

Donna explains the range of their work: “One day our Dunstable based team may be cleaning commercial premises; the next it may be called to a home affected by mould, hoarding, trauma or biohazard contamination, situations which families may not know how to face”.

Over the past six and a half years, The Specialist Cleaning Group has developed into a team of around 25 people. Services are provided across the region and further afield. Work is built on professionalism, discretion and compassion in, at times, difficult, personal circumstances.

Donna leads the company’s specialist development and training, while Den works with their clients and teams. Together they are creating local jobs, setting higher standards within the industry.

Donna explains: “People often call us when a situation has become overwhelming. Our role is to bring calm, knowledge and a practical solution.”

Their plans are rooted in Dunstable; growing the specialist teams, creating further employment opportunities and continuing to build a business of which the town can be proud.

Donna also trains cleaning business owners from across the UK in biohazard cleaning, hoarding support and business growth.

Den adds: “We are proud to be Dunstable based. We want to build something here that has a real impact far beyond Dunstable.”
