GCSE celebrations at The Stockwood Park Academy
“Today is a day to recognise all that our Year 11 students have achieved, and we are incredibly proud of them”
Pupils, parents and teachers at The Stockwood Park Academy are celebrating today as they receive their GCSE results, marking an important milestone for pupils in preparing for the next stage of their education as many now prepare to take their next steps into sixth form and further education.

This year’s results demonstrate a continued trend of improving outcomes year on year, including the number of pupils achieving grades 7 to 9, and an increased proportion of pupils achieving 5 plus in both English and maths. Particularly strong outcomes were seen in chemistry and physics.
Particular congratulations go to several pupils, whose dedication and consistent hard work led to them making exceptional progress. Having known these students since Year 7, teachers and staff are filled with pride. Students including Mayaysha, Alan, Aleksandra, Louba and Ridwan achieved a number of grade 9s across a range of subjects.

Stockwood Park continues to place equal importance on academic achievement and personal development, encouraging students to be ambitious, embrace the enrichment opportunities and contribute positively to the school community, helping them to develop the skills and confidence to support them beyond the classroom. Next year, the school will be taking a group of students to China, as part of the Turing Scheme.
Mumin Humayun, principal of The Stockwood Park Academy, said: “Today is a day to recognise all that our Year 11 students have achieved, and we are incredibly proud of them. I would like to congratulate all our young adults and wish them every success as they begin the next stage of their educational journey. Whether they are progressing to the Advantage Schools’ Sixth Form, college, or apprenticeships, they do so with the knowledge, skills and confidence to take their next steps.”
The Stockwood Park Academy is proud to be part of Advantage Schools. Both the school and Advantage Schools congratulate all Year 11 pupils and wish them the best for their exciting futures.
