Luton Point is proud to announce that an incredible £13,050.34 was raised during this year’s Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, which ran from Saturday, October 25 to Saturday, November 8.

Shoppers, visitors and the local community came together to show their support, helping to raise vital funds for veterans, serving personnel and their families.

Throughout the campaign, eight members of the Luton Point team supported Royal British Legion volunteers by selling poppies in-centre, assisting with money counting and providing essential facilities including secure on-site storage and free parking for all RBL volunteers.

Lavinia Douglass, Marketing Manager for Luton Point, said: "We are honoured to support the Royal British Legion each year. Seeing our community come together to raise over £13,000 is truly inspiring. We want to thank every shopper, volunteer and team member who helped make this year’s appeal such a success.”

The funds raised will help the Royal British Legion continue its invaluable work supporting the Armed Forces community.
