What IF you fancy talent?

THE Milton Keynes International Festival (IF) 2012 comes to the Stables this weekend, and will serve as an opportunity to soak up some extraordinary talent from all over the globe.

World-class performances from 40-year-strong Pasadena Roof Orchestra, French fire show specialists La Compagnie Carabosse, Cambodian circus dance artists Phare Ponleu Selpak present Rouge, the breath-taking acrobatics of Spain’s Enfila’t present Plecs, and many more varied acts.

Also appearing at the Wavendon venue are The Demon Barber Roadshow, a powerhouse English folk dance troupe that BBC Radio 2’s Mike Harding is a big fan of.

He said: “The Demon Barbers are one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. If you get a chance to see them - don’t miss it – they are brilliant.”

The festival continues into the following week, with extraordinary song, dance and comedy performances from some of the best stage acts around.

Some of the festival shows are at venues close to the Stables – for information about these, and for a full rundown of the week’s shows visit www.stables.org.
