Grand finale for Hoo artists in residence

LUTON HOO Walled Garden has been an inspiration to an eclectic band of 11 artists who’ve been in residence since the spring.

Their range of different media and styles has created a unique blend of installation, dance, sculpture and texture specific to this unique site.

It will culminate in a major exhibition starting this weekend. It opens on Saturday (September 17) with The Dance is the Art by Kate Wiggs when students will perform a routine throughout the garden.

The following day Sophia Dawson will lead groups of visitors on one of her ‘sound walks.’

The grand finale will be a gala Russian evening on Friday (September 23).

> Admission to the exhibition is free. Call 01582 870809 for tickets for the Russian evening, including a performance by Polina Skovoroda.
