Knocking on Dylan’s door

IF YOU’RE a Bob Dylan fan, you’ll love the Zimmermen.

They’re rapidly gaining a following at The Chequers in Streatley and will be playing there on Saturday (March 24) from 9pm.

Their name derives from Dylan’s real surname – Zimmerman.

Front man and lead vocalist Cavan Daly is a great fan of the bard as are guitarmen Shane Lamont nad Dave ‘Wildlegs’ Williams.

The band – also compriisng bassist Micky Englert and drummer Steve Laffey – belt out lots of lesser-known Dylan numbers as well as old favourites like All Along the Watchtower, Durango and Wheels on Fire.
