Devine stopped by Martin on Anthony Joshua bill

Luton boxer Michael Devine was beaten by Tommy Martin in their WBA inter-continental light-welterweight title match-up at the O2 Arena last night.

The pair were fighting on the undercard of the bill headlined by Anthony Joshua v Gary Cornish.

There was controversy in the 10th round when Devine was floored, but Martin was deducted two points for low blows as the knockdown was invalidated.

Devine was given a few minutes to try and recover, only for Martin to swiftly take control once more, unleashing a barrage of punches, with the fight quickly stopped.

In the main action, Joshua took his record to 14-0 by beating Cornish in just 93 seconds.
