Luton Town emerged with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over struggling Tranmere Rovers at the weekend thanks to substitute Ricky Miller’s wonderful strike.

The summer signing from Boston United collected Jonathan Smith’s pass with his back to goal, before turning his man and beating Peter Brezovan from 20 yards.

With Wycombe not playing until Monday night, the result saw Luton climb back to the top of the League Two table and make it nine wins from their last 11 league games.
